Estamos na terra que um dia foi a terra dos TUPINIQUINS , o termo significa , segundo Antenor Nascentes “ Tupi ao lado”, “vizinho lateral”, curiosamente depois de 509 anos não há nenhum por aqui, pelo que percebi somente alguns descendentes que se misturaram com negros ou demais raças. Esta terra aqui um dia foi lugar de índios, habitat natural quando o Brasil foi “descoberto” no dia 22 de abril de 1500. Descoberto ou invadido ? Não vou responder isto agora, mas como é bom saber que o Brasil um dia foi habitado por milhares de índios nativos que usaram a terra para sobreviver e reprocriar, mas como é triste lembrar que eles foram fatalmente dizimados culturalmente , socialmente e fisicamente até serem quase por completo eliminados pelos exterminadores do passado. Foram exterminados por simplesmente serem os habitantes do Brasil, que “descoberto” pela “civilização” tiveram que sair de cena . Bem, não vou nem discutir aqui quem é e quem não é civilizado, pois quem mata , dizima e aniquila por interesses econômicos não é nada civilizado, quem mata por defender a sua terra, está protegendo o que é seu com cidadania e amor. Deus abençoou o Brasil com uma civilização indígena, que sempre precisou conhecer o caminho para o céu através de Jesus, mas o preço da civilização custou a vida de milhares e milhares dos Tupiniquins que ao invés disso definharam no seu próprio solo. O que fizeram então ? Inseriram a civilização européia , portuguesa travestida de cristã à força na terra que era dos índios. Por que fizeram isto ? Por que precisavam “achar o caminho das índias”, mas conseguiram encontrar o caminho do martírio. Ao mesmo tempo em que esta terra brasileira conheceu o “ desenvolvimento e o progresso ” conheceu também o extermínio de uma cultura que um dia dominou tudo o que havia por aqui. Os Tupiniquins precisavam conhecer o caminho para o céu, precisavam de Jesus Cristo o Filho, para que pudessem ser salvos de seus pecados, mas os cristãos daquela época estavam aliados à coroa portuguesa que tinham as cifras nos olhos e no coração e não consideraram nada mais do que o lucro e a conquista de uma nova terra. Que Deus abençoe e memória dos índios que foram dizimados em seu próprio solo em nome do desenvolvimento. Que Deus abençoe os cristãos que usam do amor da graça e do respeito para trazerem progresso e desenvolvimento e sobretudo salvação aos povos. Quero só fazer um destaque ao que o Pr. Luiz Leite escreveu no seu recente livro Inteligência do Evangelho : “A tensão entre o amor pelo Cristo e a inaptidão para fazer desse amor uma força consistente , gerou um desconforto experimentado por toda cristandade.” Que cristianismo foi este , o cristianismo dos descobridores portugueses ?

They must "find the way to India” , but failed to find the path of martyrdom.
