O FIM DO SONHO SUPERSÔNICO

Apesar de ter sido considerado um "milagre" tecnológico e um símbolo do glamour do jet-set internacional, o Concorde voou 18 km acima da Terra a até 2.173 km/h, cruzando o Atlântico em cerca de três horas e meia. Com as cinco horas de diferença do fuso horário, passageiros chegavam em Nova York mais cedo do que haviam deixado Londres. Britânicos e franceses esperavam vender centenas de Concordes, mas somente 16 foram construídos. Eles eram usados pelas companhias aéreas British Airways e Air France. O dia 25 de julho de 2000 foi marcante para aviação comercial mundial. O símbolo da modernidade dos anos 80 e emblema das viagens intercontinentais elegantes tombava. A queda do concorde nos arredores de Paris encerrou a era supersônica nas viagens intercontinentais. Apesar de ter um altíssimo custo para os clientes a viagem entre Paris e New York ( USD 9.000,00 ) . Turbulência era uma coisa que raramente o Concorde enfrentava, devido à grande altitude em que ele voava. Olhando pela janela podia-se ver claramente a curvatura da terra , e a aeronave era mais rápida que a velocidade de rotação da Terra. O Concorde emitia muito ruído e poluição e assim por muito tempo ele não pôde pousar nos EUA por causa de leis ambientais. Quando foi planejado o projeto do Concorde não enfrentava as questões ambientais em leis e projetos ambientais rígidos que acabaram tornando o Concorde um projeto de aviação fracassado. As cenas do Concorde em chamas é triste e nos dele levar a reflexão sobre a falibilidade dos projetos humanos, me lembro que na minha adolescência ter ido ao aeroporto no Rio de Janeiro com meus pais somente para ver o Concorde sair do chão como um foguete e observar as chamas que saíam de suas turbinas. Os projetos humanos são assim : Se iniciam, se sustentam apenas por um tempo , mas se encerram. Nem tudo que é sucesso hoje , vai se manter de pé. I remember on my teens when I have gone to the airport in Rio de Janeiro with my parents only to see the Concorde take off the ground like a rocket and watch the flames coming out of its turbines . The human projects changes : They are initiated, are sustained only for a while, but will close, Will end .Not everything that is successful today, will remain standing.
